This is the book design project in support of my thesis,
which is designed for presentating all the content and projects related to my thesis. 

With the development of modern technology, humans exploit nature and increase productivity in order to progress. Anthropocentrism will imperil every living thing, including humans, to the verge of extinction. We are living in a human-dominant world, and we do not allow ourselves to observe and interpret the world through other perspectives. By seeing through the lens of non-anthropocentrism, this thesis intends to utilize design fiction, data visualization, transformation design, and other communicative design methodologies to conceptualize a new paradigm in order to question human supremacy and redefine the human-nonhuman relationship. The new paradigm aims to provide humans with a perspective to understand the entanglements with nature, which may change people’s attitudes and behaviors to some extent in the Anthropocene.


Entangled在中文里是指一种纠结且相互依赖的状态，在我的课题中指人类和非人类在人类世的状态。这本书包含了我对于非人类中心主义在宗教，人类学，哲学，历史，分类学，以及科学里涵盖的信息，以及一些对于非人类中心主义的设计实验。
